GEO India 2015, South Asia’s largest showcase of petroleum geosciences technology and services, is taking place from 11 – 14 January 2015 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, New Delhi, India.

The conference and exhibition provides a timely forum for regional and international experts to engage in a wide-ranging exchange of ideas and technology that is critical to meeting the challenges and opportunities presented by one of the least explored regions in the world. GEO India 2015 is a major oil and gas event in the 2015 Indian calendar, and an unmissable focal point for the industry.

The exhibition is expected to feature more than 70 companies from 20 plus countries worldwide. They will include IOCs, major operating companies, national pavilions, new entries to the Indian market and flagship participation from the Indian government and ONGC.

The top quality technical conference programme which runs parallel to the exhibition is coordinated by two leading geoscience societies: the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Association of Petroleum Geologists, India (APG) in collaboration with an executive committee chaired by ONGC.

In addition to the technical programme, GEO India 2015 will feature extensive poster presentations, workshops and field trips. In this exciting mix senior industry figures will also deliver keynote addresses that are relevant to the current energy climate in India.

A major highlight of the GEO India series, over 200 presentations will be delivered, covering topics allied to petroleum systems and basin analysis, structural entrapment and hydrocarbon plays, new technology, reservoir modeling and characterization, hydrocarbon from shale and coal, frontier exploration areas in the Indian subcontinent, sedimentary processes and stratigraphic models, alternate energy developments in the 21st century, environmental concerns and petroleum systems geochemistry.

The GEO India series is organised by Arabian Exhibition Management of Bahrain in association with London based Overseas Exhibition Services, both members of Allworld Exhibitions.
